This page is the easy path to the two main factions of the Warcraft universe and some of the other minor factions.

Alliance

The Alliance is one of the two major political factions of the mortal races in Azeroth, its counterpart being the Horde. It consists of Draenei, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Worgen and Pandaren of the Tushui way. The major cities of the Alliance are: Darnassus, Ironforge, Stormwind and also The Exodar, the ship the Draenei crash-landed onto Azeroth with. Common remains the common tongue among members of the Alliance.

Horde

The Horde is one of the two major political factions of the mortal races in Azeroth, it's counterpart being the Alliance.

The Horde consists of Blood Elves, Forsaken, Goblins, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls and Pandaren of the Huojin philosophy. The Horde holds several major cities, including Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity and the recently rebuilt Silvermoon City. The common language between these races is Orcish.

In World of Warcraft, the game contains many reputation factions that will become friendlier or unfriendlier to your character depending on the actions, quests, and tasks you complete related to them. Many were added as expansions were added to the game.
