==Biography==

Harnen was raised only to serve the Light, becoming a priest of Tirisfal Monastery. His devotion earned him the place of abbot upon the former abbot's death. He befriended Andrast Galahand, a knight of the monastery's knighthood, and later appointed him head knight for his skill at arms, and over the years together devised plans to forge a runeblade in the name of the Light, which they eventually put into motion. The sword was forged with runes empowered with the holy and arcane; and upon completion, Andrast named his knighthood the Order of the Sword, titling himself 'Swordbearer' with Harnen appointed as Grand Master.

The Order growing rapidly, they became a target of [[Lord Diesvalen]] - a elven noble and arcanist, who then secretly practised the art of necromancy. Having amassed a force of bandit mercenaries from the area, Diesalven lead a siege on the monastery. The siege failed however, but reduced the Order's numbers dramatically, and forced Andrast to hide the Sword deep within the cathedral.

Andrast and Harnen and the few survivors went into hiding, to protect the Sword from the wrong hands.

Harnen then returned to his family manor following Andrast's death, where he lived until dying of old age.
