| + | Hood was Born during the Crisis of the second war. He grew up in the relatively peaceful area of Westfall. At nineteen he volunteered to join the New Stormwind Garrison after the war came to a close. He was reckless and was almost killed hundreds of times clearing bandits and gnolls away from civilized towns. At the battle of Moonbrook, He disobeyed a direct order from his superior to attack the fortified buildings. Instead he lead his men threw the dead mines and came up inside and used the bandits own fortifications against them. His superior was infuriated and ordered Hood court marshaled and hung but Hood had made many friends in his campaigns and they threatened violent action if Hood was killed. A traveling Paladin called [[Toggalf the wanderer]] Decided that Hood should be spared and brought him back to the capital. After a trying debate with his Paladin Officers, Toggalf had Hood Promoted to a General for his clever actions and quick decisions. He reasoned that Hood could not disobey orders if there was no one to disobey. However with the return of King Varion, Hodd was ordered to lead every alliance soldier to Northrend to combat the Litchking. After a lengthy debate Hood was banished from Stormwind and told not to return unless he had only good intent for the alliance. Knowing that he could not convince Varion that the Horde was actually more threatening than the Scourge, Hood left and went out to Kalimdor to attack the Horde alone if need be. But he was not alone. Hundreds of Alliance Soldiers have joined him in his personal Crusade and Hood has since been leading campaigns against both the Horde and the Scourge. Realizing that he needed the General to keep his army, Varion asked for Hoods reinstatement as a General of the Alliance and made him overall commander against the Horde front. |
