Order of the Sword

The Order of the Sword is a sect of knights, originally of the Tirisfal Monastery. They are sworn to protect the sword Galardell and it's wielder, the Swordbearer. Most are known to also serve the Light.

It was orginally the knighthood of the monastery, that became named as such after Galardell's forging. The first Grand Master was Harnen Valor, and the first Swordbearer was Andrast Galahand. They then went into hiding, before being reformed by Arthor Valor and Gavinrad the Dire, and was comprimised of knights who left their post to serve the heroes in reclaiming the sword of almost-forgotten legend. After Tristam gained the sword, the order has since been involved in various conflicts across Azeroth and has had many different leaders and causes.
